Music has always been a great passion for me and I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a music teacher. My first teaching position was actually at St. Bernard School in 1983! I continued to teach music in Green Bay Catholic Schools for 10 years and in Oconto Falls Public Schools for 20 years. Life has come full circle as I return to St. Bernard’s to teach music again! I have been a parish member at St. Bernard’s for over 30 years, serving as choir director for many years. My husband Brian and I have been involved with St. Bernard School through our daughter Hope, who recently graduated from the school. I look forward to sharing my passion and knowledge of music with the students, families and staff of St. Bernard School.

“Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music”
If it seems like your children are singing more songs they learned at school, it is because we are all loving our new online music curriculum called “Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music!”  The students really enjoy the upbeat songs and video episodes that explain musical concepts in a very entertaining way. The songs use lots of movement, so we are able to get up and move while we’re learning music! And, many of the songs include Spanish lyrics, so we’re able to sing songs in Spanish as well.  We are concentrating on rhythm skills in September and we will be adding melodic skills in October.

ANNOUNCING: An All-GRACE Liturgical Choir! A great opportunity for students in grades 5-8 to sing with students from other schools, visit other churches, and perform service for the churches that support our schools!  Contact Mrs. Karnopp for more details or sign up on this link:   GRACE Choir Link
