Sacrifice Beads

Mrs. Hock had her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Agnew, come into the second grade classroom to share their love for St. Teresa of Lisieux and to help the children create their own sacrifice beads. St. Teresa once said, “Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love.” Thanks to Deacon Chuck Agnew, Mrs. Agnew and Mrs. Hock, the 2nd grade students in room 4 now have their own set of sacrifice beads so that they can practice walking in the footsteps of St. Teresa.
