Parents Actvely Concerned in Education

The mission of PACE is to support our children, families & school staff primarily through fundraising, education & volunteer activities.  We also plan the majority of community building events and activities which help foster and encourage connection for our parents.  In recent years, PACE took the initiative to form a Recruitment and Retention committee.  This committee's sole purpose is just that - recruit new families to our great school and retain our exisiting ones.  Our efforts have paid off with lots of hard work, a small budget & lots of creativity.   We are seeing the fruits of our labors.  When other Catholic schools are struggling with enrollment, we are happy to report that ours continues to grow. This school year, we have 3 kindergarten classes.  And some of our grades have a waiting list.   PACE cannot take full responsibility for this success alone.  We are so blessed to have our principal, Kay Franz, at our school.  She continues to raise the bar & always strives for excellence in education for our students.  Our faculty & staff are so talented and dedicated to our students and always go above and beyond.  All of this teamwork of students, faculty, staff & parents come together and that is what makes St. Bernard School such a great product we can offer the community.

PACE was established to help support the considerable investment it takes to provide a solid, well-rounded, private, Catholic education for our children.  Parents are asked to join PACE for a small fee at the beginning of the school year.  But more importantly are asked to get involved and help on many of our committees.
